Emergency assistance: in the form of partial financial help for utility bills, rent, gasoline, or medicines.
Other assistance: GED testing fees, childcare fees, driver’s license or ID fees
Food: to be given once a month to families and individuals who qualify.
Food Fair: Free fresh produce for low income families in the area. 3rd Saturday of the month. Bring your own bags.
Clothes: a voucher given once per season provided by Open Door Thrift Shop owned by Church Women United.
Referrals: to and from other agencies or programs (literacy, job training, and other assistance), as needed.
Additional Programs: School Supplies, Thanksgiving Baskets, Christmas - Adopt a Family & Food for Senior Citizens Delivery Program.
Financial Responsibility Program: Monthly workshops covering basic banking, money management, credit repair, saving to build wealth, ID Theft and Account Fraud, and more! Open to the community. Childcare available. |

The agency serves low income families in emergency crisis who live within the Dickinson Independent School District (Dickinson, San Leon & Bacliff), and transients. We also assist families in the Clear Creek Independent School District-Galveston County with a referral from Interfaith Caring Ministries.
