About the Self-Sufficiency Learning Center
The M.I. Lewis team would like to propose a new program, The Self- Sufficiency Learning
Center. This center will be used to assist individuals by promoting independence,
accountability and career development for preparation to enter today's workforce.
Our staff, volunteers, and partners will work with clients one-on-one, or in classroom settings, to equip them to compete in the current job market and improve their employability through training and education.

OUR GOAL
The goal of The Self- Sufficiency Learning Center will focus on developing skills in resume building, job coaching, interview skills, job searching, financial planning and much more. Our plan is to start small with the intentions of growing in the future. This small start will allow our program to begin collecting data on clients served, classes completed and successes.
